This is a trip report continuing from my post below in August.

東北旅行①:青森県「八戸・奥入瀬渓流」 / A trip to Tohoku①: Aomori prefecture “Hachinohe・Oirase Keiryu (Mountain Stream in Oirase)”

Seeing is believing.  I will try to focus on photographs.

Check out how stylish and cosy the place we stayed.

We also spent time making those moss balls as part of hotel fun activities.

After enjoying the nature and streams of Oirase in Aomori, we moved to the capital city of Aomori, Aomori city.

During our time of the stay, there was a big famous festival was being held, Nebuta* festival!

About Nebuta Festival: quotation from the official HP.

The epitome of Aomori’s summer, the Nebuta Festival is one of the most famous festivals in Japan, attracting thousands of visitors.
The main attraction is large, colorful and dramatic human-shaped floats called Nebuta, 9 meters wide, 7 meters deep and 5 meters high, most of them resembling ancient warlords, historical characters and kabuki characters in early days.
These floats parade through the streets of Aomori, with Haneto dancers bouncing down the streets to the exciting music of Nebuta bayashi bands.

Enjoy the photographs we took!
