Portable shrines, “Mikoshi” and festival floats “Dashi” which belong to the local community are displayed inside the Sakamoto Cho Park, Nihonbashi.

Another nostalgia that still breathes in the small corners of Tokyo.

Those Mikoshis are used for parades purposes at the “Sannou Matsuri”, one of the three largest festivals of Japan.
Certainly, the biggest one to be held in Tokyo.

The history of the festival goes back 500 years.

The festivals are held every two years.

Amid the pandemic damage, it is not merely a tradition to carry out but a sign of pride of local community to continue and pass on such heritage to the next generation.

Resilient strength of the City exercised.
