The area to the east of Ginza, known as Kobikicho in the old days, is dotted with buildings that survived the WW2.
This building using scratch tiles was designed by Yoji Nakamura in 1928.
Even some buildings were fortunate enough to survive the previous great war, not much have survived the economic growth of Japan came after the war.
Renovations after renovation. Waves of industrializations.
So this is one of the rarest examples in such a central area of Tokyo.
